NNTS Presents
8.30pm – 11pm / Free Entry
Widowspeak – Live
His Clancyness – Live
Weary Band – Live
Widowspeak is an American band comprised of Molly Hamilton and Robert Earl Thomas, known for its dreamy, western-tinged take on rock and roll. The outfit formed in 2010 and released two singles in 2011 (Harsh Realm, Gun Shy) followed by a debut album (self-titled) in the summer of that year, all on Brooklyn label Captured Tracks. Widowspeak was praised for its reverential spaciousness, Hamilton’s haunting voice, and Thomas’s spindly, Morricone-esque guitar lines; both drawing on 1950′s pop ballads and 1970′s psych, creating languid call-and-response melodies.
NNTS Presents

Sulk – Live
Towns – Live
Under the rainy skies of London, the shining sounds of Britpop, Shoegaze and Psychedelia are back in bloom. Locked up in the back room of an east end gallery stirring up 90s inspired sonic harmonies, this five-piece’s influences are less worn on their sleeves, than branded on their hearts. Bands such as The Stone Roses, Suede, Ride and The Verve are wholly evident, but this isn’t nostalgia for old time’s sake. It’s a whitewash of powerful prettiness; with sun-drenched vocals, ethereal guitars and pounding drums, rooted in 90s vibes but with its eyes to the future. The other joined headliner tonight come from Start the Bus Favorites TOWNS. Enjoying a great year these guys guarantee to ram the dance floor!

Ital – Live
Dirty Talk – DJs
Daniel Martin-McCormick aka Ital chops and skews classic house/techno through a liberating and unique soundworld. His tracks are panoramic, labyrinthine constructions that channel the dystopian visions of Drexciya and the industrial explorations of Chris & Cosey while never straying too far from a 4/4 mindset. “Five deliciously strung-out club tracks are as original as they come, stewing up house’s 4/4 kickdrum with muddy synths and diced-up diva vocals… Awash with memories of dancefloor bliss” – NME

Charlie Boyer and The Voyeurs – Live
Plus Support
Charlie Boyer and The Voyeurs came to our attention supporting TOY earlier this year. Perfectly channeling mid-70s NYC art punk in the back room of a scuzzed up East End pub, Charlie took the sounds of one blank generation and blasted them out to another. Only took a minute before we were sold out.
